The project is a journey about fire, offering a number of experiences that arouse memory and allow for contemplation. The visitor-walker is invited to wander and observe, to feel and think, in an environment where life initiates from ashes and built interventions converse with nature.
Theoretical question: Ηow can a museum exist beyond the strict boundaries of a building and how can architecture become the content of the museum itself?
Answer: The idea of a journey is being used (a journey that stands between a religious pilgrimage and a walk along a natural trail). The visitor is being considered as a traveler whose visit begins before arriving at the main structures. The structures are in constant dialogue with nature and based on the memory that each person has on fire, the whole journey offers the traveler a variety of new memories.
Main Design Strategy:
To create a distinguished path that will have constant reference to a duality regarding fire, but also nature and life in general.
